Found A Toy Gun from 1940's-1950's

Hey. This is Rain again. I decided to go out in my yard again and try to find something. Well the first signal was a dime at 4''. I popped the plug out and this gun layed at the bottom of the hole. I found the date on this website and it says it ranges from the 1940's to 1950's. http://www.josephmarc.com/page-3111.html
HAPPY HUNTING,
RAIN

I have one I found too. I also found one with a star on it. Love them older cap guns. I think every kid in America had one growing up in the 40's/50's. (Didn't want to reveal my age) :laughing7:

There was a movie called "Smoky" made in 1946 with Fred MacMurray and Anne Baxter.

The gun could have been produced in connection with the movie.

:)

Thats a nice one! I have found three toy guns this past year, last one alittle like yours and says "Gene Autry", two others that are from early 1900s
but from adjacent homesites. Good Find.

I found the same gun last fall and I was surprised at how well it held up being in the ground.
