Hey everyone, my mother showed me this strange quarter she found. It is a normal Washington quarter, 1986(P). The weird thing is that it has a chunk cleaved out of the edge, right below the "L" in "LIBERTY". I wouldn't have thought much of it, but the reeding continues along the cleavage, meaning it must have been cut before it was reeded.
