Me and Nancy my wife to be, went on a small hunt yesterday, first we went on top of a hill that I found some brokes and stuff a month ago, she found this rock thats very round, I dont know if it could be a game stone or something, Found alot of flakes but nothing great, its growing up quick with weeds and grass. So we went to the bottom and hit a small creek for a little while and I found this whatisit. I showed my father in law to be and he said it looked like a petrified chunk of dynomite. I scraped a little bit on a board and tried to see if it would burn and it wouldn't. It is about 3-1/2 inches long. When you tap on it with a rock its got a sharp stone type clank to it. The blue stuff in the hole that Clay thought is a wick, will crumble out but wont burn either. Any help would be appreciated. Well if they both turn out to being nothing thats OK cause we had a real nice time looking for artifacts. Good luck to all. JYD
