Found along railroad

Found this along a railroad in nj. It was like 2 feet down. I think it's a door to a coal oven or something.

i might have the wrong name for it, and I hope someone corrects me if i do. Could it be a transfer cover. If it is, there would be the name of a rail road on it.

Found out its a journal cover from a train wheel
