Found an Angel Blowing his horn in the woods today.

Found this little Angel in the woods today. When I dug it up it was covered with mud. I didn't clean it until I got home. I was thinking it was a piece of bullet lead. Was I surprised when I got it cleaned, and saw what it was. It is made of lead. Its about 1 1/2 inches tall.

I guess this has been my guardian angel for the past years that I've hunted that place. I finally found him. It made me feel good to find an Angel. All my life I've been looking for one.

Nice find Old River ..angel may have been an old , Christmas ornament. I have seen these used as adornments on antique furniture ,usually brass . Angel of Saviors birth signals with a trumpet . Very nice

That is a nice old find Boyce! The object that the little cherub is blowing is called a "shofar", Hebrew word for a ram's horn.
