Shifting sands from all the recent storms or perhaps just a little luck but anyway I found a small little concentration of some nice early relics from one of my best sites. All found in a surprisingly small area too. What looks like a little piece of a lead cloth seal, floral pattern button, twopiece colonial button, two trapazoidal spur? buckles and a another vesica shaped fancy spectacle buckle.

Thanks. They were all found within a few feet of one another. Ive never found more than one or two complete 17th century buckles on one hunt. I now have three of the exact spectacle buckle. Must of been a popular design or one of the few types locally available

I wonder if this gorgeous specimen would benefit from some electrolysis cleaning?
