Went to the park found two wheat pennies a 1914-d and a 1919-s. Two buffalos a no date and a 1914-d. One modern penny and one Jefferson nickel. Then a nice infantry button that I don't know much about other than the park opened in 1909, I think, and before that it was part of the fort. On the back of the button it says "D Evans & co Attleboro Mass". The raised detail is really sharp. Thanks for Looking. Good luck on your hunts.

WOW! Nice key date wheat! In G condition its worth $281.00 it goes all the way up too $4,268.00! Very very nice find. I bet you were syched :-) great hunt!

Yes very cool. The wheat is awesome and u never expect to pull a key date. I pulled around 200 wheats so far but not one is even a semi key. I'd say a value of around $160 bucks but I'm sure the ole red book values it higher. I hate the red book haha they give u more of a collector value then what u could actually get from it. I always compare everything w eBay. Something is only worth the amount what ppl t willing to pay. Awesome nonetheless

nice button and key date! I would say you had a great day!8-)

I didn't realize the penny was a key date. I thought the 1914 buffalo was the good one. lol I was sure surprised when I got back to this thread today and found out the penny was so good. I guess I better get it cleaned up better. It still had dirt on it in the picture.

Don't use any harsh chemicals.. Just remove dirt and don't try to make it look brand new it will only hurt the value
