I found one somewhat like this one. Who had them ?
The paint makes me think not Relly that old since it was found in river mud which would certainly work on any paint. But I am not a mud expert.Very well could have been a trade pipe or early settlers. Somewhere on here is a picture of the pipes that several company's made.Surprised like you that any paint remains.
