Your bullet is a civil war era US .44 Colt "New-model" bullet, cast in one of Colt's bulletmolds, for use in the Colt .44 Army-model revolver.

thanks cannonball guy i don't know about civil war stuff , i worked with 18th century artifacts in the past, i think this may be a new hobby.

Correct me if I'm wrong here but it looks like there's no patina on it at all, I'd think it's a modern made reproduction bullet.
