What do I do with what seems like a whole box of old 9mm luger bullets? I kept finding them and putting them aside because I didn't want them banging around with my bag full of fishing sinkers and stuff.I know where they are, in a marshy section of coastline where they could have been for years untouched. Plus I found one thin mercury dime in the mud. Are they stable? still good? The salt has affected the lead but not the brass.

Throw it in a bag and drop it off at the local gun range or police dept.

9mm is cheap.. if you don't have experience with ammunition; don't fool with it; just junk it.

Don't throw it in a fire, don't bury it and don't try to take it apart.

Just get rid of it or give it to someone with a 9mm..

If it's been wet for so long, they are worthless and pretty harmless.

They will NOT blow up in your pouch or blow up rattling around a box in your car.

Thanks. Yeah they could have been in the mud for decades. I thought I was getting lots of false signals, but the detector don't lie, just lots of targets in that spot.
