Finally got better pics of the military coin/token I was talking about before, so here goes. We "dug" these out of my aunt coin stash, she has no idea what this coin is.

From being there I can tell you guys that I think the metal is lead, or at least around the outside of the object, heck maybe pewter??

See what you all think, I hope these better pics help.

Altho Mine is Slightly Different.

I THINK what you found is a "Radiant Eagle Game Counter" (Late 1800's "Poker Chip")

The Design on Front is The same.
the Back of mine says 2.50

And is same size as a Nickel.
and altho it may Originally have had a Gold Plate, it could also be brass

They date to the 1800's,
alot of which were made in Germany.

This one was Found at a Late 1800's Gambling Hideout in the Woods, in 2000.

2 Years ago I found a second one, & sold it for $40.00, Altho, I think I sold it Too Cheap.

THANKS GUYS, will pass the info on. Next time I will put a penny next to it for sizing. Sorry bout that. The finish appears to have been like a golden color but most surface finish has worn off.
