Found during spring cleaning, sorry no picture

I found a Wm. A Rogers Oneida silver plated coffee pot. It is unfortunately damaged, but I am trying to figure out what it may be worth on silver melt value.

If its plated, there is no melt value. If it is solid silver, thats another story!

Just wondering if the silver plating had any value. Basically, all I own is a bunch of junk. Kind of depressing. That and I have an annoying next door neighbor who keeps trying to get me to sell him some of my pain pills, which I keep telling him is ILLEGAL, not to mention I need my pills. I am half afraid the junky fool may try to break into my house to get my pills, so I am having to keep them under lock and key in the gun cabinet. The gun is next to the bed, just in case. I hate living in such a tiny town, since somehow we are getting the reputation that we are "rich" and there are too many meth heads that live out here. I would have to have to shoot someone for trying to break into my house and steal what amounts to junk.

Just put a sign on your door saying. OWNER OF THIS HOME CARRIES A GUN 3 DAYS A WEEK. IF YOU FEEL LUCKY YOU DECIDE WHICH DAYS THEY ARE. It is sad when someone has to worry about people that may break into your home.....Matt

The other option is to just sell 'em some ajax, they get one shot of that stuff, I bet they'll leave you alone about your "stash", forever.
