Well finally I found my first non-clad coin. Hit a local park and found a 1959 D Lincoln Cent. Not a big deal, but hey after finding 110 coins all clad, I think its a start.

Nice finds d3t3ctr0n!

Cu from 1864-1982 - Though hopefully silver is in his near future!!

I still call the 1959 lincolns clad, because they are ONE year off from the lovely wheat-backs. Wheat-backs mean you're searching the right place! :)

Any coin is a good coin. Keep up the good digs.

OOPS! I misread. Thought the DIME was from 1959.

Bronze from 1864-1958 (except for the 1943 steel cents) copper from 1959-1982. copper plated zinc from 1982-present. Keep digging...the wheats and silvers will come.

More booty for the jar.

Wheats lead to silver, keep sniffin them out, you'll find them...

Hey man , it's a start ! I like your positive attitude - just keep on detecting with faith and passion , you'll find silver , and over time
you'll find gold too - more than anything else ,you'll find some fun , and some peace of mind !
