hello made you look,,sorry for that but I thinks its cool 1972 gold plated Eisenhower,was 4inches sure made my heart race was sure I was digging a can,,also found these two boy scout clips,,maybe next time its solid piece. thanks for looking,,

Cool find! I have only found one Ike dollare, a 1972 but mine is not gold plated (bummer)

Take a smashed aluminum can out and sit it a foot away from the dollar. Swing over them and you can tell that the can has a much wider signal than the dollar. The dollar will be a shorter signal, like a coin!

If I saw that in the ground I would probably grab the nearest stranger near me and excitedly show them what I was about to pull out of the ground, then upon realizing the fake for what it truly was I would have to embarrassingly apologize to the person and explain that they would have done the same if they thought they had just unearthed a massive solid gold coin.
