Found in Monterey, Ca.

Obviously, these aren't hard to identify. But is there a way to date them?

1) it looks almost hand made. On the back there is an inscription that's hand written ("Peace comes from within" + a peace sign)

2) earring with Lauel Bunch inscribed on back (probably contemporary)

3) Brass heart with no markings

Anyone have tips on guesstimating age of jewelry. I am guessing pierced earrings is relatively new to jewelry.

If it has a Peace sign then it dates sometime after 1959 till now.

Nice, I found an 1805 large cent up on base when I was stationed at DLI... In hindsight I should have detected more but I was into jade hunting in Big Sur more than MDing lol
