Found in one of those "hunted out places"

Found these in spotsylvania Va,At a place where allot of skirmishes took place .People have always told me the area has been hit hard,and there is not much left.I have seen a few people hunting myself,and could see all the tell tail signs people have been hitting it hard.But if they missed stuff of this size,who knows what else is still there!People can find the most of it.Cant find it all.Happy diggin joe

Yeah, that is what i was thinking,I usually find shot bullets in that area.but damn, these two weren't too far from each other.I kind of like people spreading the word that places are hunted out,"most probably just repeating what they have heard".If it keeps competition out,I am all for it.

Hey Digiron2: your pic looks like they have rust (made of iron). Perhaps the reason they were missed is someone like me said " Oh @#$% another iron signal, I'm not digging it", thinking at best iron shot or weapon fragment which they might have already amassed a ton of. If that be the case, I guess the iron signal are, in fact, worth digging, and we can always smack our heads against the wall later if it turns out to be just useless iron.

They both sounded good.Thats why i cant see why someone missed them in a so called "hunted out place".I didn't find them at one time.but they where not too far apart.
