Take a picture out of the bag and in sunlight for best picture quality.

Found this on the beach today. Any ideas?
Here are a few more daylight pictures…it does strongly set off the metal detector.

Looks like some kind of accretion/aggregate to me.
Whatever metal there is may still be locked inside--or not. :dontknow:

Iron will make a concretion like that. Hit it with a hammer to knock it off and see what’s inside.

A piece of Krabby Patty from the Krusy Krab. Just kidding. It looks like a type of conglomerate of small seashells cemented together with sand.
