I had about 15 minutes of sunlight left after work so I ran over to a wooded area that backs up to a local school.
It was getting very dark and I was heading back to my car when I got one of those signals (we all know them) that pinned the meter all the way to the right and read right on "dollar". It was a small enough target that it just might be a coin, so I dug the two inches indicated and...Imagine the look on my face when this coin appeared. I thought OMG! this is the find I have been dreaming about. Then, it struck me as I realized I was looking down at IKE's bald head!!! 1972 Eisenhower. Oh well, another coin for the jar! Still a nice "first" for me.
