Found my first Indian Head penny today

My goal has to find a Mercury dime,I'm not shaving until I do.I went to an old 4H/Bible camp/Dance Hall/resort today.It was built in 1902.It has been detected before.I've been finding Wheaties and silver dimes each trip.Today I was hunting in front of a old cabin.Got a good,soft,repeatable signal.Out comes a 1882 Indian Head penny.It was a little over 6" deep.Used my CZ70 with the 5" coil.This is my first summer metal detecting.I'm addicted bad already.Back tomorrow,got to find my first Mercury dime.

Gotta love that CZ70. It's a silver magnet. Finding a 6" deep penny with a 5" coil is pretty good.

Good find Kickback, and welcome neighbor! I'm down the road in P'wood, got a White's M-6 this summer and I'm hopelessly addicted, have found a silver merc, rosie, canadian, and a Barber quarter, and a couple of pounds of clad. Maybe I'll see you out swinging sometime before the snow flies, take care...
