Found my first Native American point and a few coins!!

I finally found my 1st point today in 25+ years of looking on and off,lol!!!!It has a broke base but it's all good!!I was metal detecting in a IL woods and always keeping my eye's peeled for artifacts..Here's a few pics of it and forgot to get of ''AIL ''pic..But,I did get a video of it..Also dug up a few coins to end the hunt..HH and cheers:skullflag:

Nice point! Looks like an agate basin and if so would be late paleo about 8,000 years before present. Its a keeper!
 

Look almost identical to one of my points, great eyes Rob! Congrats on another first!

Only got a few but yeah, always watching those washouts and gravel beds in fields when hunting. If you see a spot in a feild where the water has washed out a lot of the ground and there's rocks showing, you gotta look for 'em. With 10,000 years plus of people tossing them things around at critters in this area, you're bound to find a few remaining.
