carved bullet today Civil War relic hunting is what got me interested in this hobby.
I have a friend who owns property that was a fortification for the confederate forces in 1864 - I have hunted this property pretty hard in the past and came up with mostly poison oak - a few bullets and several pieces of iron objects that were discarded on the property.
Today I got this bullet that was carved into what appears to be a mushroom, it was about 5 inches deep - as an added bonus less than a foot away from this find was a 1936 Wheat!!!!
The heat was unbearable so I only stayed out about an hour. I love old coins and love my civil war relics even more!!! Thanks for looking.
