Found this while at my moms at caddo lake. I thought maybe its a bullet, but I am not sure. It's heavy. Pretty sure it's lead

It is a bullet, and a pretty old one. I don't immediately recognize it, but as others will tell you here, precise measurements (in 100ths of an inch) are important when it comes to making a positive ID on a bullet. A digital caliper is a very handy tool for any digger to have when it comes to identifying things. They can be found online pretty cheap, or at a store like Harbor Freight...

Looks like perhaps an old .38 S&W (long or short). Need diameter in thousandths of an inch and weight in grains to be more precise.
