Found on beach in Scarborough

Found this a few weeks ago on a hunt with Stockpicker. Detector sounds off but it is not very heavy and magnet does not stick. I don't believe it is coal...any ideas? About a inch and a half long.

It does look like coal.

It is possibly low grade Silver ore!

I tried rubbing it and it leaves no black marks. It certainly has me curious.

Now that would be cool if it is. I wonder if there is a way to test it?
