Found this on the beach, it’s metal with sharp point and a hole in the other end. Any idea what it could be or what it came from?
Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Pictures are dark out of focus a bit also.
Looks like a sparkler-or a skew of burnt marshmallows:laughing7:
Basically a measurement and better photos are needed to get an ID.

I am glad you got it off the beach :) Next i would like to be the first to WELCOME you to a SUPER FINE FOURM :)

WELCOME !!!

I have on occasion found a nail where the rust was off the upper 1/4 or 1/3rd of the nail leaving a very pointed and sharp point. I am NOT saying that is it, just going by my own experience. OK, just took a second look, not a nail at all. My only other comment would now be...????

The whole strip of beach from below Myrtle to above North Myrtle was used for training by the Army and Air Corp before and during WWII. We have found all kinds of stuff, scrap metal to 50cal bullets .

looks like a nail from here.

Looks like a tetanus shot causer. Glad it's off the beach. I wanted to say a dart but it's too long. Maybe and one medical tool?

I have a little tool called a bodkin tool, for fly tying. It reminds me of one.....

Looks like a canvas repair needle.

Updated with hopefully clearer pictures and size.

Can you tell if the point was hollow? Some of those old medical needles were thick.

Hole goes the wrong way so it is not a sewing needle.
