Found one decent thing today but what is it??

Another 30 shotgun heads today, and some more railroad lead seals, neither are pictured.

Three pennies, and then a banging solid 91 from all directions. It sounded sweet, but I was doubting it was silver. Out came this thing, not sure what it is. Pretty sure it would decorate the top of something, maybe a religious item? Any ideas?

Dang if it doesn't look like something you would find on a wrought iron fence. The hook throws everything off though...interesting.

Well the experts over on the "what is it" forum helped ID this thing as the top piece decoration on an old pot bellied stove.

I'm always impressed how the most oddball stuff gets ID'd on that forum.
