Found rare German WW1 ball grenade shrapnel piece!

Found this in a forest by my house where there was WW1 activity! The forest was in the region of the Battle of Jugla (in Latvia).

EDIT:

This is not shrapnel from a grenade ,but a part of a WW1 artillery shell!

Notice the grooves on the bottom of these shells! They match up with the piece i found!S6300117.webp
