Found a gold bracelet today, wonder if anyone could help determine its worth? It's marked 3 places with, "ITALY", "14K" and "SMG or maybe SMC", it is 8" in length
Well it has all the right marks so that's a good sign. I know the Company SMC (Specialty Merchandising Corporation) Its a business in a box company like Avon and they have some Gold Jewelry. :P The thing that gets me is it also say's Italy and SMC is an American company but... Maybe they get their gold from Italy. Anyway if it is SMC than you can bet its real. You need to weigh it and have it Acid tested anyway to find out what its value is.
