Went to another lake area which I usually don't hunt till January. They (TVA) draw all of the lakes down in my area. This part of the lake is a beach area that I hit every year. As I made way around I could see where some others (or one) had dug. They didn't cover there holes and left the trash in them or beside it. I just picked the trash up and covered the holes back up. Want to be able to hunt in future. Thanks for looking!

Nice...looks like a great place to hunt.

Congrats on the gold!!!

Nice find, Congrats.

Nice!!! Would love to see that in my scoop!!!

Nice, I wish I would find gold rings with stones in them. It seems that newer rings have more of a chance to have stones then the 50 years plus gold rings.

OMG!!!

Detectahead, that is a most beautiful gold ring /diamonds find!

Pics of the lowered lake are terrific..thanks for posting them.

First off congrats on the beautiful ring find! But most of all I want to thank you for covering up the holes left by others who have no regard for this hobby and are going to spoil hunting for all of us. And thank you for picking up the trash that other hunters don't bother to pick up. The ring is your reward. Why is it so hard for other hunters to realize that by leaving holes and trash that they spoil it for everyone? Beats me! I mean it is not so hard to kick the dirt/sand back over the hole. **sigh** May you find many more wonderful finds in the future.

Good karma (picking up the trash) nets ice and gold! :icon_thumleft:

I'm with you Mumszie, Nice find as a reward for deeds well done..... HH, Beach Papa

Thank you all for the compliments! So good to see you still posting Mumszie. Still makes wonder what they were thinking when they look behind them and see all the piles of dirt w/ trash lying next to the hole. It went like this; Wow, I sure did search this beach , huh huh. People never cease to amaze me

Nice. I found and return one that looked exactly like yours this summer. Hard to give up a beautiful piece like that.

I second that!!!!!

Sweet, its a very pretty ring and a good find.
Don't understand why some ppl don't fill the holes, it takes like 2 seconds to just shove some sand in with the foot or whatever and stomp it once..........

I find that stuff all of the time no biggie :)....Just kidding! Thats a nice ring and im glad you filled in the holes. I heard of this story where these college students started detecting and did not fill in their holes...the whole city got banned from detecting. Keep up the good work and spread the word
