Was out at my mom and dads today and I was showing my brother where Ive been metal detecting in their field and found this. Ive also found leaf springs and other car parts. Now the question I have is there anyway to find out the make and model of car this license plate belonged to?

Heading back there tomorrow I keep finding pieces to something lol

Good looking auto relic, wouldn’t hurt to contact the county and see if they have records dating back that far. Doubtful but the answer is always no if you don’t ask.

Nice find, sonny!

Nice save. Congrats

Very nice. Older license plates are always a good find.

reminds me of johnny cash's song "one piece at a time"

Suggestion:
Contact the Cumberland Public Library and ask the Reference Desk for the County Historian's information. Elicit that person's help.

You will be like the Johnny Cash song. I got a 56, 57, 58 automobile

Maybe the whole car is out there in parts.... Looks like it may be a rebuild.
