Found this at my parents field

Was out at my mom and dads today and I was showing my brother where Ive been metal detecting in their field and found this. Ive also found leaf springs and other car parts. Now the question I have is there anyway to find out the make and model of car this license plate belonged to?

Ok thank you I did find the county code is for my county and 1951 is the issue year...think it would be cool to find what kind of car this was attached to

Yes, the first two numbers designate your county code: Cumberland

Good looking auto relic, wouldn’t hurt to contact the county and see if they have records dating back that far. Doubtful but the answer is always no if you don’t ask.
