Found this, help with age and identity please

Was out detecting at a spot today that has produced a little bit of everything from older silver coins to new coins. I was getting a strong signal on the detector, normally a wheat penny or dime would fall in this target ID range and sound so I started digging. At about 9 inches this came up, I have cleaned it up a lot, most of the detail couldn't be seen at all until it was cleaned. The back is completely blank, no makers mark or anything other than what's on the face. Any help with an age or identity would be great, I can't find anything online that looks similar. Thanks in advance, any advice is welcome!
