Okay, what were they used for? Wikipedia said drawer pulls, firearm inlays, and a few other odd definitions. Which was mine? Was I right when I thought of furniture decoration?

I DID try the link she gave, thanks... it showed three identical pieces, what they were.... but not exactly how they were used.
