This was my very last target of the day at the Blue and Gray hunt on Friday....It is a one piece flat button with what looks to be a plain front, and Best Quality on the back along with an eagle....Can anyone give me an approximate age? Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

My guess would be early 1800's. Nice find! :icon_thumleft:

Right on the money. The British used the Eagle on their buttons in the early 1800's to appeal to the growing demand in America. I found a few similar ones, but yours is in much better shape. The coins found at the site mostly range from the early 1800's as well.
