Found today...no clue

I found these items today on the edge of a swamp and have no clue what they are. Any help would be appreciated. The iron object seems to be a lid for something and has a decorative design on it. Thew 2 brass objects seen to be similar and were found about 3 feet apart, but don't seem to fit together in any way.
Any ideas?

Paper towel is full sized folded over once. Object is 3" across.
