Four Silver Dimes Today!

Today reminded me of the good old days back in the 1980's and the 1990's when numerous silver coins could be found in one place on the same day. It's getting harder and harder to find spots like this.

Today I went back to that median strip and worked it for a little over 8 hours. I'm exhausted! After all that time I dug out 48 coins and a lot of brass and copper scrap.
The four silver dimes were 3 Rosies and one Merc, but in this day and age I'll take them! Also dug out 14 wheat pennies. I'll be returning to this spot next weekend, hopefully I'll dig out one more silver. Total silver out of this median strip now stands at 23!

First off I'm blown away. Who'd have thought a median strip could be so productive??

Second, if you swing your MD anything like you create your pics for posting, it's easy to see why you're so successful. Looks like it took you most of the day just to take all the pics and add the captions.
