Mark, Junkman and I hit several spots today. Was kinda slow for silver. Between the 3 of us we only got 4 silvers. 2 quarters, a 42 merc and a 43S nickel. I got a 64 Quarter and a 43S nickel, and a '74 British 1/2 penny. Kinda unusual, but I got an even 50 memorials, 20 dimes, 15 quarters, 10 wheats, and 7 nickels.

Also got my first ever look at a Burr Oak. Biggest dadgummed acorns I have ever seen!! Like 2 Inches in diameter! Feed a whole family of cat squirrels.

Atleast you found some silver! My town has no silver gotta start goin out of town on hunts

What town do you live in that has no silver! If people and buildings have been there for over 60 years there is silver in the ground. If you are anywhere close to Houston, give us a shout and we will go find silver!! 9 out of 10 lots we hunt have silver. Most of the homes were built in the late 40's to middle 50's and now they are being torn down to build new homes. those kids in the 50's had change in their pockets, played in the yards, etc., and now we are digging it up! A recent lot, last week to be exact, had 8 silver coins and 2 silver charms on the front yard, along with many wheats and a buffalo nickel!

I live in a small town in central Texas but this summer ill b in Houston visiting family I know ill b going to the galveston beach
