4 of us hunted for about 8 hours Friday. We all got silver and I think the total was 10-11. Kinda weird to measure success in silvers, but that is the way most of us do it. Anyway, I got a small silver coin (dime size and reading dime) out of the ground and thought, Rosie, then saw the date, 1905 and thought Barber, but rubbed a bit of dirt off and it said 1/2 Mark! Cleaned it up a bit and it is a 1905 'Deutsches Reich 1/2 Mark'. Also got a really good condition 1887 Indian Head penny off the same place.
