Friday's Farm Finds
I only had about an hour to kill at the farm today, but I did dig up a few things. I continued the slow crisscross sweep in the area where I had found some previous CW era relics. Amazing how much I missed the first time.
Nothing too exciting, but here it is:
*A small lead shot. Hollowed end, tapered tip, and what appears to be some small lines around the diameter.
Is this some sort of bullet?
*A small clasp (?) with two rivets in it. No idea what it is?
*A mystery metal piece. Looks very old.
*A small button. No text on it.
*A shotgun shell head.
*Some sort of large metal lock type pin. Very neat piece. The ring on it can be lifted up (with a bit of force), and when pushed down it snaps into a locked position. The ring & pin are both made of a metal that a magnet will stick to. The head of the pin is stamped with what looks to me as possibly "Made In England"
I know it says "MADE In", but the last word is hard to tell.
I will post it in the "what is it" section also.
I'm very curious as to what this was used for, and what era it is from.
Any idea?
Thanks for looking.
