I'm sorry if I got your attention with no picture but a friend of mine found a 1865 copper coin. I don't know much about coins as I am new at this. Maybe a large cent?? It says one cent on the back. It's larger than a quarter and closer to a half dollar. It's in very good shape. I have a camera but not a modern computer. I'm still using windows 98. Anyone know it's value? It's in real good shape. Looks like it hadn't been in circulation too long.

Sounds like a large cent...they're 100% copper. Are you sure of the date? They stopped minting them in 1857.
