Dang, Scooter...I'm beginning to smell a "stinky" 
Hope I am wrong; but I understand you told one person here on the Outer Banks that you took that coin to a "pawn shop" in Corolla.
Now, you tell me you took it to a "pawn shop" in Nags Head. (about 30 miles apart).
Did you take any photos while detecting the beach?....one that will prove you really found that coin?
No offense intended...but some of your story doesn't hold up...

I SAID I WASNT SURE WHERE THE PAWN SHOP IS THERE YOUR FROM DOWN THERE YOU TELL ME WHERE IT IS. I FOUND IT AT COROLLA AND THAT IS TRUE..... IF I NEED DOCINMATION I CAN GET IT THERE WERE TWO OTHER GYES WITH ME.
