Super busy at work so I haven't been out seriously hunting in a while. Determined to walk today no matter how cold. Struck out across a random path on the Neosho River bottom in SE Kansas picking up a few pieces along the way until my fingers froze and I turned back. By the fire now and looking forward to catching up with you guy's posts!

Tried to delete the blurry pic but it insists on adding it as a thumbnail attachment?

Is that a crude little point in the middle?

Yes, OTB. It was actually a quite nice one when made but all of the corners are pecked off from the ages and appears to be rough now. Have you been out? I tried today but fingers burned and KC on today, so it was a very short hunt for me.

Oh, and btw, that little point was in the middle of nowhere. Long ways from the campsites. Just happened to look down on my sprint to the truck to warm my hands, and bingo!

I got out briefly on wed when it was so nice, got some flint, a bit of bone, and a partial scraper

Here’s some quick pics, I also can’t pass up the fossils weathering out of the limestone.

Fossils are always good. I see a nice nest of bones in there, too. Scrapers and bones always welcome.
