Frustrated with minelab

New X-terra 705 broken coil Trying to get minelab to respond is really frustrating Thinking about trading it off for a Fisher detector or a boat LOL It's not which detector is better its who has better service
If you have been on treasure net for any amount of time...... You would know that service is not one of Minelabs best points.............There service is the worst among the top detector brands.............

Minelab had phones and internet down today due to a storm. I would try again tomorrow. If your still having problems Email me your contact info. I will see what I can do. Thanks, Bart.
 

Thanks for the offer Bart But no one should have to go thru any dealer to get service on a new detector Miller MDZ offered to send a new coil until mine was replaced But I don't think he should have put himself on the line because of a large company like Minelab I have lots or respect for Tom great guy Was going to to order a larger coil But I'll wait and see what happens Thanks Again
 

Well one thing is true, minelabs has a questionable customer service, BUT if they have good dealers than that compensates a little. I would consider the help of the dealers since its not the same for a single person to complain than for a dealer that sells hundreds of md for them.

I purchased my E-trac from a dealer at a beter price than any online store. I know that if something goes wrong with it he would have me out in the woods again even if he had to loan me a machine. Let the dealer do the hard work that's what they are there for.

You should call them........... But like i said they hav the worse service of all the main detector makers........ I have been really lucky in 20 years of useing Minelab's i only had to send it for repairs 2 times ...... once before they sold out and had good service............. Then once after they sold out and that was a nightmare........ That is one reason i will probably never buy another Minelab.............
