Fun at the Beach

Found this cool little octopus charm, matchbox car, and Miami flip flop bottle opener. I also found ALOT of clad coins. One spot just kept producing coins. Must have been a purse dump! I gave my coins to a homeless woman while leaving the beach. Even threw in a few bills for her. She didn't ask either, just trying to be a good human being. great morning at the beach.

Cool flip-flop. Whenever I find stuff like that, if they're not eaten up too bad, I toss them in a pile and use them as decorations/themes for my birdhouses.

Down here in south Florida we have people at every intersection asking for handouts. I'm sure a lot of them are legit but some of them are not. I like to help out the less fortunate but I prefer the unsolicited. This woman was under a palm tree looking like she was in bad shape. I just started talking to her and asked her if she would like a bottled water and a little help. It breaks my heart when I see homeless people because that person is/was someones son or daughter. I think its great that the USA is the World Police but we should take care of our own citizens first. There are plenty of hungry children right here in the states that desperately need assistance......wow, that escalated quickly! Sorry for the rant, dont know where that came from, lol.

I love finding those too. I have a 4 yr old son and he digs them. I like digging the hot wheels too.

Definitely. I got out early today before the storms came rolling in. I think we should be fine tomorrow if we get out there early.

Definitely. Sourh Beach keeps reproducing. There is always some kind of event going on on the beach down there. Mucho people+alcohol=treasure!!
