Fun Day-Old bottles,running the dogs and the kids

It was windy and cold,I got windburn,instead of sunburn but it was a great day from start to finish.. The hubby and I ran the Bird dogs ,bought the nieces some kites ...Yes we took them to fly um..lol Then We went looking for whatever we could find.............They are learning fast and loving it.. 4 girls, 8to13..The bottle with the pointed cap I need help with..anyone? Ok,I need help with almost all of them..but that one interests me the most.. 4 girls, 8to13..Here is some pics of the day I'd like to share with you guys..

Anything I say would be a Pure Guess.

Any markings on the Bottom ?

I'll take a guess.. it's a start.. I thought maybe glue, It has the number 2 on the bottom.. The little cobalt blue bottle is a bromo-seltzer bottle from Emerson Drug co. .... one little bottle has drene on the bottom ,another small one has lyric.. I have a bottle here that has white pastey goopppie stuff in it..should i be scared..lol..? it still has the cap on it.. A few whiskey bottles.. one says Green River,another says Hiram Walker... Some bottles have raised designs instead of lettering.. I think the bigger white jar may be cold cream ..doesnt say..the little one says mentholatum. Now if I could just find that money tree..lol

Have you been able to open it ?
Is the cap Rubber Like ?

If glue there is probably a place inside the cap where a Brush inserted.

This was one of my 3 guesses

Glue
Perfume
or Medicine if the cap is a "Dose" Cap.
or had a "dropper"

The cap comes off easily and both bottle and cap are in great condition.. Those are great guesses,especially the medicine dropper ,I didnt think of that..but unfortunatly,its not a dropper and doesn't have a brush underneath and it doesn't appear to have broken off....we may never know, still a cute little bottle..lol

I was thinking maybe nail polish. I've found several little bottles with that tell-tale poiny cap- which remind me of the nail polish bottles I grew up w/- tapering to a point. A couple even had a little colored residue still inside! But without the brush, I don't know. I always assumed the brush broke off...or maybe it was applied w/ a seperate brush...Perfume or cologne, perhaps. The little white jar is a cold cream jar for sure. And the bottle w/ the white goo in it is probably white shoe polish. I think I've found one or two of those, as well! Looks like you had a great day out, regardless of wind and weather! HH!

Great Guess Abbey..Im going to look that up about the nail polish.. Oh,and I found a wind-up locomotive..Horrible condition though.. I dooooo mean horrible.. The hubby says the bottles we found( there are lot more,broken pottery ) are from a dump site .. The old timers burned there trash and dumped over the side of a hill.. or something like that he said.. I swear I was listening.. :P

Wow! How cool! That's 2 for 2 (2 correct ID's) today! And yup, your hubby's got it right. Every dump I've searched shows signs of having been burnt- some several times. It made the heap smaller. And yes, down the hill it all goes. Often into a ravine or river- like around my neck of the woods. Keep looking and HH!
