Those banded slate axes sure are rare. Must be a ceremonial piece owned by an elite warrior.🤣 I also like the slate spud in upper left. I have to give the axe maker credit though, he picked a really high quality piece of slate. I wish we had that stuff around here.

Is the seller claiming these to be ancient? I know some folks sell recent reproductions without any deception.
$85 sounds like a price for a modern axe of that quality; to the right buyer.
