-I am stumped on the rock looking thing--MD went nuts with it bouncing back between bottle cap, pull tab, ring, and clad, ?think it may have even not beeped a few times in the search for it but did register.....any clues anyone--does not attract a magnet and where i hit it with the shovel thinking rock(oops) it is a silver color cleaned with a toothbrush and the rest where not busted up looks like a ordinary rock due to the ground in dirt, also it is very heavy for its size -- ?it was found about 3 inches down and not even close to where i was hitting the junk------ANY CLUES ? ?ANYONE? ?

Perhaps a close up picture of ?the rock. Where was it found? Initial impressions are that you have some ore(silver looking material) within that rock which is setting off your detector. Galena a lead sulfide is silver to gray in appearance and has cubic crystals and cleavage. Galena is quite heavy and will set off a detector and commonly contains silver. However, right now just best guess .
