HAHAHA... What I find funny is that the French Foreign Minister says,
I will remind the jackals that in 1803, four cents was real money. One could take his girlfriend to a movie, buy popcorn and share a Coke for four cents.

I didn't realize they had movies, much less moviehouses that sold popcorn and Coke back in 1803?? Am I missing something here?? LMAO

Thats a Frenchman for you.

I will remind the jackals that in 1803, four cents was real money. One could take his girlfriend to a movie, buy popcorn and share a Coke for four cents.
He knows his history real well. I bet he thinks they have won all the wars they have fought also. LMAO
If any one finds one of thoose 1803 coke bottles I would love to see it

Likely as not the French had movies and cokes all that time, but kept it a secret from everyone else in that stingyguts kind of way they have, not wanting to share the lofty benefits of culture. I have it on good authority that Napoleon invented the first Mac hamburger, but that it was a closely guarded secret until one of the various German occupations of the 20th Century... the second most likely, where the coveted recipe fell into the hands of Field Marshall Goering, resulting in him becoming a man who needed a bolt of cloth for each uniform.

The Ruskies got the recipe after the war and the KGB released it in America, hoping Americans would come to look about the same as Herr Goering, which, in fact, they did, but too late to do the People's Paradise any good.

Re: With the French for an ally who needs an enemy?

That is a real maxim used by other European countries. There is a reason that the French invented perfume. They have the world's lowest per capita consumption of soap. They stink. The reason they have tree lined streets in Paris is so that the Germans can march in the shade. They recently boosted the terror alert in France from "run and hide" to "surrender and collaborate". Re: Funny story about new nickel. The other one. Lewis and Clark

It is now reported in Numismatic News that the general consensus is that the guy holding the gun has two left hands instead of a left and a right. Whether they will correct the design is unknown at this time. Exanimo, SS

If it werent for the U.S the french would be speaking german today.
