Funny story...suggestions?

I spend more time hunting for my tools than it takes to do the job, So ,can't help ya. But I understand. Jim

You can use anything that is "pan" shape, i.e. a pie pan, bowl, etc., I have even "panned" with a shovel, you will of course lack the riffle that are in todays modern pans, but anything that will let you swirl/stratify the material so the gold will sink to the bottom will work, you will have to be more careful when panning out the material and stratify more often without riffles.

I grabbed a frying pan from the kitchen, over 10 minutes panning each tablespoonful. Got a nice picker, at this speed it will take awhile.....

Also im running into alot of gold looking pieces that i believe are not gold...but i figure ill ask.....I can cut them with my fingernail )they are pretty thin) and if i rub them hard enough they will break into sheets. All are really small.

more suggestions? :hello:
