IMG_1496.webpIMG_1497.webpIMG_1499.webpA couple finds from yesterday, I got back to the site of the old tavern, the ground was quite muddy, we have had several days of snow then melting, all the same no big deal. The watch fob was a welcome find, it dates from the early 1900s, the token is a Geo.III, it is dated 1788 and it was used as a gaming token so I am told, there was a stage stop further down the field, I will be visiting it soon hopefully. HH The bottom picture is incorrect for the coin, it is a gaming token.
