I found this old vise at a Flea Market. Can't find enough on it to know what it was designed to do. Any help on this and the bell would be appreciated...:hello2: Paid $70

Bought what appears to be a full 1,000 foot wooden reel and what appears to be 400-500 feet on a second reel of No. 8 single run copper wire. Gave $90 for both reels; I'll use it on my 48v strings of my home solar panel project, but I didn't get a receipt for Solar power deduction....

Paid $20 for the all brass fire extinguisher and $25 for all the brass fireplace pieces

Bought this bronze bell. It rings by way of air power. Not much in the way of markings, but it appears to be a 1950's locomotive bell. Pd. $75 At the same garage sale, I bought this "Parlor Stove" that operates on Kerosene. Not much info on it either, the stove's casting base says "Majestic No. 10, Novelty Mfg. Company. Also Paid $75

Bought a Warner attic ladder. No bolt marks anywhere. Pd. $20

Found some silver and gold, but that's for later and on Digg's $1.00 topic.

This weekend started on Thursday and ended on Sunday!!! What a roller coaster ride!

nice vise, non swivel, anvil on back. I know I have good sales on Wilton and pretty much an made in the U.S.A. 3 1/2 inch and up. sweet fan too

I'm looking for a good Wilton with 6" to 8" jaws, swivel base, in a Machinist vise.... but WHEW! they are high.

If you like, PM me if you run across one in new/good condition

Your vise is from as far back as the covered wagon era. It might be a Cheney but the design was copied by many other makers. It's a cool find and that is coming from a bench vise collector

Thanks for giving some direction to go look.

Several years ago I found this Wilton vise at a flea market. There is a quarter coin in the picture to show how small it really is....
