garrett 1350 and ace 250 coils interchangeable

I have a garrett 1350 and an ace 250 and the cord connections seem to
interchange, was wondering if I could interchange the use of coils on
both machines....anyone know or tried to use the 1350 coil on the ace 250
or ther other way round would like to hear from someone who might know
or may have tried it....................idaho hunter

Not on paper they don't. But I talked to a guy that was running several different Garrett coils on his 250. He said they worked fine but some the target ID segments were off on notch. Some were right on too. He said you get used to that. I would try it if I had some other coils.

Coils are specifically tuned for specific detectors. If the plugs are compatible, the id, depth etc. will be out of whack and you will probably lose depth too.
